  • Resolution Run - End the year with a 5K at Fleet Feet Greensboro. 9 AM

  • Scavenger Hunt: Each day in January, Downtown Greenway will upload a close-up photo of a location along the Downtown Greenway. Participants can send in pictures of themselves in the secret location to potentially win prizes.

  • Now Open: Dive Bar opened its new location in High Point on December 27. The bar features arcade games, claw machines, billiards, darts, and more.

  • MLK Jr. Breakfast: The City’s Human Rights Commission’s annual breakfast honoring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be held on January 15 at the Koury Convention Center. Tickets are available for purchase.

  • Fundraiser: The Triad Chill Polar Plunge returns on February 24. Participants raise $50 in support of Special Olympics North Carolina to participate in the plunge, where they will jump into frigid water at Wet’n Wild Emerald Pointe.
