  • Fitness: Greensboro Parks and Recreation is encouraging residents to get outside and walk/run/bike 24 miles in January as part of the 24 for '24 Winter Workout Challenge. Keep track of your miles to be entered in a prize contest.

  • Recreation: The High Point City Lake Park playground reopened last week with areas for preschoolers and school-aged children ages 5-12. The playground features outdoor musical instruments, a merry-go-round, swings, and much more.
