Unveiling: On February 21, the Justice Henry and Shirley Frye sculpture was unveiled in Greensboro’s Center City Park. The sculpture honors the couple’s contributions to North Carolina and Greensboro. Governor Roy Cooper was in attendance.
City: Greensboro will host its first community budget session on Thursday, February 22 at the Barber Park Event Center. Residents will learn how the city's annual budget is developed.
Grand Opening: JusFit Studio opens at 4000 Ossi Ct., High Point on Saturday, February 24. The fitness studio will offer a complimentary breakfast and a free Mixxed Fit Dance Class.
New Restaurant: AquĂ es Mexico celebrates its grand opening at 1800 Westchester Dr., High Point on Thursday, February 22. Attend for a mariachi band and $5 margaritas + mixology cocktails.
Arts: The annual Downtown Arts program returns to downtown Greensboro. Throughout the year, works from local artists will be displayed on 11 digital kiosks in downtown Greensboro.
Career: GuilfordWorks will host the Healthcare Career Pathways Job Fair at the Barber Park Event Center on Thursday, February 29. The fair will feature available positions from 20+ different healthcare employers.
